Set up the online storefront

Overview

• Online Ordering settings are Store-specific.
• Core settings include Enable online ordering, Pause ordering, Accept ASAP orders, Accept scheduled orders, Minimum prep minutes, Pickup interval minutes, Maximum scheduled days ahead, Minimum order amount, and Show sold out items.
• Maximum scheduled days ahead is currently limited to 1–7 days.
• The public profile can include Store name, tagline, hero/logo images, public contact details, pickup instructions, allergy/dietary notices, announcements, and social/website links.

When to use this

• Configure this before publishing the Store link publicly or when pickup capacity changes.

Step-by-step

1. Select the Store and open Settings → Online Ordering.
2. Enable ASAP and/or scheduled pickup.
3. Set Minimum prep minutes, Pickup interval, and maximum days ahead.
4. Set any minimum order amount.
5. Complete the public profile and pickup instructions.
6. Use View storefront and place a test order.

Common mistakes

• Do not use Pause as a substitute for predictable recurring Store hours.
• Do not set prep time shorter than the kitchen can actually achieve.
• Do not assume public Opening hours text controls pickup slots; Store hours/settings do.

Troubleshooting

• If no pickup mode is available, inspect Store hours, pause state, ASAP/scheduled toggles, prep time, and slots.
• If branding is wrong, edit the Store's public online profile.
