Customer order status and changing images

Overview

• After placing an order, the customer sees a live confirmation/status page rather than a static success message.
• The main scene can be RECEIVED, PREPARING, READY, CANCELLED, or a temporary checking/unknown state.
• Each scene automatically selects its own illustration.
• The page also shows Order number, Store, Pickup time, customer/payment context, and per-item preparation state.
• Status derives from actual Order/KDS item and KDS order state: KDS work moves the page from Received to Preparing, and completed fulfilment moves it to Ready.

When to use this

• Customers can keep this page open while waiting instead of repeatedly asking the Store for status.

Step-by-step

1. Place the order.
2. See Order received initially.
3. When KDS work starts/items progress, the page changes to Preparing and its preparing image.
4. When fulfilment completes, it changes to Ready for pickup with the ready image.
5. Cancelled/voided/failed orders show Cancelled.

Common mistakes

• Do not manually manage these images; they follow order state.
• Do not mark KDS items done merely to advance the customer's picture.
• READY currently means fulfilment complete/ready for pickup, not a separate collected state.

Troubleshooting

• If the page is waiting for the latest kitchen update, it keeps retrying.
• If the image/status looks wrong, inspect KDS/order state before the image asset.
