Checkout and customer details
Review the cart, enter contact details, choose pickup timing, apply loyalty, and place a Pay-in-store order safely.
Overview
- Checkout collects customer name and phone, optional email, and an optional order note.
- Customers choose ASAP or a valid scheduled slot where enabled.
- The standard food-order flow currently creates the order as Pay in store / UNPAID.
- MiniTill uses an idempotency key during submission to reduce accidental duplicate orders.
- Customer contact details can be cached in the browser for convenience.
When to use this
- This is the final step after cart review and any upsell suggestions.
Step-by-step
- Review products/modifiers/notes.
- Enter name and phone.
- Choose pickup timing.
- Sign in/redeem points if wanted.
- Review the final amount.
- Press Place order once.
- Keep the confirmation page for updates.
Common mistakes
- Do not repeatedly press Place order while submission is in progress.
- Do not use a false phone if the customer expects loyalty/history matching.
- Do not interpret Pay in store as online card payment.
Troubleshooting
- If availability changed, review the cart again.
- If a scheduled slot expired, choose a current valid slot.
