Availability

Temporarily hide products or modifiers when items sell out or are unavailable.

Overview

  • Availability tools help staff quickly mark products or modifiers unavailable without rebuilding the menu.

When to use this

  • Use availability during service when a product sells out, an ingredient runs low, or a modifier should not be offered today.

Step-by-step

  1. Open Product Availability or Modifier Availability for the selected store.
  2. Find the affected item.
  3. Mark it unavailable or available again when stock returns.
  4. Check POS, KDS, and online ordering flows if the item is sold through more than one channel.

Common mistakes

  • Do not delete a product just because it is sold out for the day.
  • Do not forget modifiers such as milk options, sauces, or toppings when ingredients run out.

Troubleshooting

  • If an item still appears after changing availability, refresh the selling screen.
  • If marketplace availability does not update, use the retry or sync tools exposed on the relevant integration screen.
