Availability
Temporarily hide products or modifiers when items sell out or are unavailable.
Overview
- Availability tools help staff quickly mark products or modifiers unavailable without rebuilding the menu.
When to use this
- Use availability during service when a product sells out, an ingredient runs low, or a modifier should not be offered today.
Step-by-step
- Open Product Availability or Modifier Availability for the selected store.
- Find the affected item.
- Mark it unavailable or available again when stock returns.
- Check POS, KDS, and online ordering flows if the item is sold through more than one channel.
Common mistakes
- Do not delete a product just because it is sold out for the day.
- Do not forget modifiers such as milk options, sauces, or toppings when ingredients run out.
Troubleshooting
- If an item still appears after changing availability, refresh the selling screen.
- If marketplace availability does not update, use the retry or sync tools exposed on the relevant integration screen.
