Reports & Store Operations

Use the operational Dashboard

Start with today's takings, order flow, hourly performance, channel/payment mix, top products, and action-needed alerts.

Overview

  • The Store Dashboard is the quick operational view for the current day in the Business timezone.
  • Manager views include current sales/order flow plus practical breakdowns such as hourly activity, payment/channel mix, top products, and action-needed alerts where data exists.
  • The Dashboard compares current performance with relevant previous-period context where implemented.
  • Cashier access is intentionally narrower and focuses on operational access/alerts rather than restricted management analytics.

When to use this

  • Use Dashboard during the trading day for a fast health check; use the detailed Reports pages when you need a stable period, export, cohort, or diagnostic view.

Step-by-step

  1. Confirm the selected Store/scope.
  2. Review today's takings and order count.
  3. Check refunds/negative adjustments and any operational alerts.
  4. Review hourly/channel/payment/product context for unusual shifts.
  5. Open the relevant detailed report when something needs investigation.

Common mistakes

  • Do not treat a live Dashboard value as a final till close.
  • Do not compare Dashboard today values with a report using a different Store or timezone.

Troubleshooting

  • If today's figures seem low, check whether payments are still pending/unpaid or orders belong to another Store.
  • If an alert appears, open the underlying operational page rather than trying to fix it from the Dashboard card.
