Billing, Settings & Developer API
Understand MiniTill plans
Compare Free, Starter, Pro, and Enterprise while treating the Billing page's effective limits as the source of truth for your Business.
Overview
- MiniTill currently uses Free, Starter, Pro, and Enterprise plan levels.
- The current standard Free plan is for testing/very small use: 1 Store, 3 staff, 1 POS device, 1 KDS device, 100 Products, and 500 Orders/month, with advanced paid features disabled.
- The current standard Starter plan is NZD 49/month: 1 Store, 5 staff, 2 POS slots, 3 KDS slots, 300 Products, and 3,000 Orders/month. It includes Online Ordering, Gift Cards, Vouchers, Loyalty, Discounts, and Costing, but not Integrations, Advanced Reports, or public API access.
- The current standard Pro plan is NZD 129/month: up to 3 Stores, 30 staff, 10 POS slots, 10 KDS slots, 1,000 Products, and 10,000 Orders/month. It includes Integrations, Advanced Reports, online Gift Card/Voucher campaign capabilities, and public API access with a standard 1,000-request daily allowance.
- Enterprise is custom pricing/limits for larger multi-store or integration needs; the current default enterprise configuration enables the full feature set and a much higher API allowance.
- A Business can have custom entitlement/limit overrides, so the values shown on Billing & Plan for that Business are authoritative if they differ from the standard plan defaults.
When to use this
- Compare plans when a Business needs more Stores/devices/orders or a feature such as Integrations, Advanced Reports, or Developer API.
Step-by-step
- Open Billing & Plan → Overview.
- Review Current plan and Feature availability.
- Review current Usage against effective limits.
- Open Plans to compare the plans currently offered.
- Choose a plan change only after checking the features/limits the Business actually needs.
Common mistakes
- Do not assume KDS availability only from the plan name; effective KDS enablement also requires a positive KDS device limit.
- Do not hard-code public pricing/limits into your own integration; MiniTill can use custom Business overrides.
- Do not assume API access is included in Starter just because many business features are.
Troubleshooting
- If the plan card and actual available feature differ, check whether a custom override is active.
- If a plan change button is unavailable, check role, Stripe/subscription state, and whether the target is a custom Enterprise arrangement.
