Preview original attachments
Keep the extracted fields side by side with the original PDF/image so staff can verify what MiniTill read.
Overview
- MiniTill stores incoming attachments with the Business Document and keeps inline email images separate from useful document attachments where possible.
- PDFs and common image formats can be previewed inside the document page when the browser supports them.
- Open original opens the primary previewable attachment separately.
- All stored attachments are listed with filename, type, and size.
- The review form should be checked against the original whenever totals, pack details, dates, supplier/merchant, or tax values matter.
When to use this
- Keep the original visible whenever correcting extraction or deciding whether a warning is harmless.
Step-by-step
- Open the Business Document.
- Use Original document preview or Open original.
- Compare the source with the extracted review fields.
- Open another listed attachment if the email contained multiple useful files.
- Correct the review data before applying/creating anything externally.
Common mistakes
- Do not approve a total from extracted text without checking the source when a warning exists.
- Do not assume every browser can inline-preview every image/PDF; Open original remains available for supported stored attachments.
Troubleshooting
- If no previewable PDF/image is detected, review the attachment list and retry extraction when appropriate.
- If the browser preview is blank, use Open original rather than changing document data.
